We will turn attention inwards in a mindful meditation, and then bring energy, emotions and tensions into a flow through a pleasant movement exploration. We will end with a nice and relaxed Gong- Shavasana, supporting your body-mind to stir up what still needs to be stirred up and integrate what needs to be integrated. You will leave refreshed, balanced, clear minded and relaxed. Regular attendance will make you more aware and intimate with your body, mind and sensations, gain resources for self balance anytime/ anywhere, and enhance your experience and performace on yoga and other practices. You don´t need any previous experience in movemenr or meditation. Come with an open mind and experience thoughtlessness. About Xica Lisboa: I am a body-work practitioner and a teaching and coaching artist. I passionately facilitate performers and non-performers for more than 15 years, bridging fields of creativity and mindfulness. I am interested in art and embodiment practices as a possibility of distinguished use of time and space within the reality in which we live, regarding to subjects such as attention and inner/inter- connection. My concern is the attentive experience of the body as a means of expanding self-perception, awareness and hence presence in our moving body. My background: I studied multiple approaches on "body" from different fields of knowledge, as philosophy, culture, communication and science in the theoretical-practical and interdisciplinary course of “Communication and Arts of the Body” at PUC-SP, where I graduated with a Bacharel in Dance and Performance Art. I further trained and practiced somatic education, pre-expressivity, dance-theater-improvisation, clowning, craniosacral therapy and traditional thai massage.
