Jorge Bascuñan comes from a traditional Chinese martial arts school of the Taiji Meihua Tang Lang Quan (Mantis fist) kung fu lineage that follows the teachings of the GM Sun Deyao. We demonstrate to students that martial arts can help them achieve a better quality of life and develop physical conditioning, discipline, and balance. Our mission is to improve lifestyle, health, and wellness within an inclusive environment that respects each individual's developmental stages. During training, we will work on individual exercises and combat structures in partnering formats, working on punches, kicks, falls, and martial sequences. However, please note that the compensation USC provides to teachers is unfortunately very low. To ensure fair support for the quality and energy I dedicate to each class, USC members are required (after the first class) to also purchase a discounted membership through EVERSPORTS (in combination with scanning the USC code).
