Your questions answered

With your corporate membership, you can only check in at partner locations in the country where you are registered. To get access to venues in all 6 European countries, you will need to upgrade your membership. After registering, go to your account and click on 'Change plan'. Here you'll be able to upgrade to our European plan.

With your Urban Sports Club membership, you can choose from a great variety of sports and wellness partners and do sports either on site or online from your home.
Whenever you visit a partner venue, you will have to scan the QR code in order to participate in a class or to do your workout. Each scan counts as a check-in.
If you take part in a Live Online class or Masterclass from your home, a link to the class will be sent to you by e-mail and be available in your membership profile. Opening that link will count as a check-in, too.
Please be aware that you can only have one check-in per partner a day and that for PRO- and BUSINESS memberships, only one check-in per day is possible. Other limits may apply depending on the country in which you are using the membership and membership type.

There are different visit limitations for each membership. At partner venues, you can check in either daily, 4 times or 8 times per calendar month. The respective number of visits and check-ins depend on the partner venue, your membership tariff and the country you are in. Multiple check-ins per day at one venue are not allowed. Please be aware that you can only have one check-in per partner a day and that for PRO- and BUSINESS memberships, only one check-in per day is possible.

If you sign up with a corporate membership, you can choose between the 1st of the current month (retrospectively until the 20th) or the 1st of the following month as a start date. Corporate memberships only can start on the 1st of a month. There is no reimbursement if you choose the 1st of the current month as your start date.

Depending on your company’s tariff, your membership can have an initial contract length of either one month or 12 months. Your first membership cycle ends after the initial contract length has passed; after that, your membership is renewed monthly.
If you request cancellation at least three days before the end of your current membership cycle (72 hours before the renewal of your membership / count starts from midnight), your membership will be closed at the end of your current membership cycle with no further payment. If you cancel your membership after this, your membership will end after an additional month. You can request the cancellation yourself from your membership profile.

Plus check-ins are check-ins that you need for certain activities. Those include wellness (saunas and massages), EMS, boutique studios, and cryotherapy, to mention a few. You have a check-in limit depending on your membership type. Plus check-ins are marked on the website and Urban Sports Club App through a violet “Plus” label. You can keep track of your visit limits within your membership profile.

Due to accounting reasons, transferring your existing membership is not possible, and you would need to register again.
You can easily cancel your current membership from your profile on our website at the end of the current membership month. Please make sure to request the cancellation at least three days before the end of your membership cycle.
Once the cancellation has come into effect, you can either sign up again with a whole new corporate membership via your company’s registration page or reactivate the membership under the corporate conditions that apply to you, as explained in the following:

1) Log in on www.urbansportsclub.com with your former log-in data
2) Please ignore the reactivate buttons and change the URL in the browser address to the landing page that the company you want to sign up with will provide. Before you open the link, add /reactivate the URL. (www.urbansportsclub.com/companyURL/reactivate)
3) Reactivate your membership with the desired plan.

A corporate membership is supported by your employer and can not be used by any other person. However, you can contact your employer to find out if there are specific discounts for family members.

Even if your employer fully pays your membership, you still need to enter a payment method during registration. If you want to upgrade your membership or in case there are fees to be paid due to late booking cancellations or no-shows, a valid payment method in your profile is required.
Of course, we guarantee that we won’t charge you for the service as long as none of the above applies.

The conditions for corporate memberships might differ from those of private memberships, depending on the contractual agreement between your employer and Urban Sports Club.
For example, PRO and BUSINESS members can check in once per day, and BUSINESS members can only check-in in Germany. All corporate memberships start on the first of a month (more details here), and pausing conditions might also differ.

Upgrade your membership
Option one: Instant upgrade. You can upgrade your membership, effective immediately. If you choose this option, you will pay the difference between the two plans right away and then pay the higher price from next month. Your membership cycle will remain the same as before the upgrade. We would recommend choosing option two if your next membership month is due to start soon.
Option two: Upgrade from the start of your next membership month. You will remain with your current plan until the start of the next membership month, meaning you will just be charged for the higher plan on your usual billing date
Downgrade your account
You can downgrade your membership from the start of your next membership month at any time for no extra cost.
Please note: Your visit limits are reset on the first of each month, regardless of whether you upgrade or downgrade your account.
