Yoga im Wedding und Prenzlauer Berg Ashtanga Yoga method involves synchronizing the breath with movement through a sequence of postures. The practice produces internal heat which helps detoxify the whole body. The breath, the gaze of the eyes as well as the internal alignment of the posture are the core principles of Ashtanga that serve as tools to transform your yoga practice into a moving meditation. You will be taken on a journey deep into the subtleties of alignment, discovering new ways to adapt the poses to your body and building both strength and flexibility to support a life-long practice. "Mysore Style” yoga is named after the city in India where it originated. The class is not "led" as a whole but rather the students follow a sequence of postures and receive one-on-one guidance where needed. Students practice at their own pace, enveloped by the energy and inspiration of other students in the room. You can reserve your spot or just come and start your practice anytime before 8am.
