Kostis Spyrou (b. Athens, Greece, 1989) is a Berlin-based dancer and educator focussed on the human body and its potential as a means of communication and expression. Kostis trained at the KSOT and AKTINA professional contemporary dance training programs in Athens, Greece, where he studied performance, technique, pedagogy, and choreography.
Subsequently, he has supplemented his movement knowledge through parkour, acrobatics, and floor-barre as well as through strength, flexibility, and conditioning training. Since 2016, he has been working in Germany as both a professional dance artist and as an instructor in university, dance school, and studio contexts.
Kostis offers regular classes and workshops at multiple venues in Berlin. Intentionally focussed on specific themes and key ideas, the classes are suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced movers and designed to challenge, motivate, and educate.
