(water and salt) Our salt rooms create a calming atmosphere where the air is enriched with a fine (dry) saline aerosol. Combined with quiet, relaxation and mindful breathing, the experience offers a moment to slow down, breathe consciously and reconnect with yourself. Whether you are looking to spend time in a saline environment, consciously unwind, or practice mindful movement, Salzhain provides a peaceful space to step away from the pace of everyday life. 🌬️ Why Salt? Our salt rooms are surrounded by natural salts, from sea salts to crystal salts, with more than 15 tons of salt covering the walls and floors. The air in our salt rooms is continuously filtered through our built-in Zehnder air filtration system, while the natural salt environment creates a distinctive, clean and refreshing atmosphere. To create our highly acclaimed 'salt air' a fine saline aerosol containing microscopic mineral particles is dispersed throughout the room using cool-mist ultrasonic transduction. This creates a gentle, even distribution of saline aerosol throughout the salt room and also allows us better control over the strength and concentration of the salt air. We are on one of the only saltrooms in the world that offers individual salt saturations to cater to clients based on what they want and what they need. We can adjust the salt saturation and concentration of the air and do not just offer one setting of air as we realize all people are different and what works best for one person is not necessarily working for the next person. For instance we can offer a lighter, gentler concentration for first-timers or babies and we can raise the concentration for those suffering from chronic or acute issues. ⚠️ IMPORTANT – Please read these important guidelines before your appointment: 🚭 Smoking is NOT PERMITTED for 1 hour before your appointment. 🍛 Strong-Smelling Foods- do not eat strongly smelling foods for at least 1 hour before your appointment, such as garlic, curry or other highly aromatic foods. Snacks with intense smells or flavour enhancements, such as heavily seasoned chips, should also be avoided during this time. 🌸 Perfume & Fragrances- DO NOT use Perfume and strongly fragranced beauty and personal-care products the day of your session. Please arrive FRAGRANCE-FREE whenever possible. This includes strongly scented: Lotions and creams Shampoos and hair-care products Deodorants Body and hair sprays Perfume and Eau de Toilette If you arrive wearing a noticeable fragrance, we kindly ask you, out of consideration for our other guests, to remove the product before your session. You are welcome to use our restroom for this, and wet wipes are available for your convenience. This pertains primarily to perfume as this can be removed from the skin by wiping the skin. Please note: If these guidelines are not followed, we reserve the right to shorten or cancel your session. 🌬️ Why Are These Guidelines Important? We are a space focusing primarily on the quality of our air and strive to achieve a comfortable breathing environment for all guests. For this reason, we aim to keep the air in our rooms as comfortable and low in irritants as possible. Smoke, strong food odours and fragrances can affect the breathing environment for sensitive individuals. Our salt environment can intensify odors and fragrances. Fragrance compounds can also interact with particles and aerosols in the room air and may subsequently be inhaled. Because many fragrances release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the air, we ask guests to arrive fragrance-free. In our enclosed salt-room environment, fragrance compounds can remain noticeable and may affect the breathing comfort of guests who are particularly sensitive to scents. We therefore kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in following these guidelines out of consideration for our guests and to help maintain the most pleasant breathing environment possible for everyone. 📱 Booking Book your session conveniently through our app. Can't find a suitable appointment? No problem! Feel free to contact us directly. Depending on availability, we may sometimes be able to offer additional appointments that are not shown in the app. This is particularly relevant if you would like to visit with 2 or more people. 🧺 What Do I Need to Bring? Actually, nothing! You don't need to bring anything special for your session. Everything you need during your visit will be provided on site. 🧥 What Should I Wear? We recommend wearing comfortable clothing. Because we use a cool-mist process, the air in our salt rooms is relatively cool rather than warm, as it would be in a sauna, for example. We recommend wearing several layers — for example, an additional sweater that you can easily take off if you become too warm. Blankets are also available for you on site. 🧂🤍 ⏰ Please Arrive on Time- An Appt. at 12 means your session starts at 12. If you arrive after this time the session time is cut short. If this is your first visit, we kindly ask you to arrive approximately 10 minutes before your session begins. This gives us enough time to check you in and explain all the important information to you at your leisure. If you have visited us before and are already familiar with our process, arriving 5 minutes before your session is perfectly sufficient. Arriving 5 minutes after the start of your appt. without giving us any notice can result in your room or spot being given away to another customer. We highly suggest to call us shall you experience delay. We can often still offer your full session shall you arrive slightly later, we just like to be informed so that we know if we should start the salt air or not.
