About the teacher: Hello, I am Angela, founder of the yogalovers community space. I am a Vinyasa flow, Yin yoga, and meditation teacher (RYT-200, Yoga Alliance) and have been teaching for 8 years. My classes are a creative blend of what I have learned from students, teachers, and my own mental-physical experimentation. I hold an inviting, calm space where students can explore the interconnection of body and mind through movement (flow) and stillness (meditation). Classes are held in English and are beginner friendly, since I offer modifications for poses to meet you where you are. My journey with yoga began more than a decade ago, as a way to relieve stress after moving from Italy to China. Over the years, yoga has helped me embrace life's ups and downs and understand the importance of a balanced perspective for happiness. What I love most is that yoga and meditation aren't just theory or philosophy, they are practical methods that help you live a peaceful and harmonious life. Together they support you in maintaining a healthy body through movement and teach you to be aware of your inner reality by observing your breath and body sensations. This experience gives you insight into how your mind affects your body, and vice versa. For example, when you think about something unpleasant, uncomfortable sensations might arise in your body, and when your body is in pain, your mind becomes agitated. They are interconnected. By learning to remain balanced in the face of everything experienced inside, one develop detachment toward all that one encounters in external situations. These small practices, repeated over time, change how one moves through life, and this shift naturally begins to positively affect the people around them too. This transformative impact on my own life is what inspired me to dedicate myself to the study, practice, and teaching of these practices.

Location: The studio is located on the ground floor, in a yellow building with large windows. What to Bring: Just a water bottle! We provide and set up your mat, blocks, and blankets for you. Stay Cozy: During the winter months, we recommend dressing warmly to stay comfortable before and after class. Important: Check-in is mandatory.
