Swimming is a versatile, low-impact sport suitable for all ages and levels. Whether you prefer breaststroke, front-crawl or backstroke, as an Urban Sports Club member, you can visit one of our many partner venues all year round to tone your muscles, ease sore joints, relax and have fun. 


The positive effects of swimming are now common knowledge. This full-body workout strengthens all your muscles (especially the back and arms), improves your endurance and has a positive impact on your overall fitness. It is also easy on the joints and burns tons of calories, making it an ideal cardio workout. After a stressful day at work, gliding through the water at your own pace can have a calming, regenerative, and almost meditative effect.

No problem: many of Urban Sports Club’s partner pools are suitable for all ages, with many offering designated child play areas where kids can get wet and wild.
