If you’re coming to a Forró class, it’s important to dress in a way that allows you to move freely and comfortably. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you can easily dance in — think of something similar to what you’d wear to a light workout or a relaxed yoga class. When it comes to shoes, please avoid high heels or heavy footwear. The best choice is a pair of low, flat, and comfortable shoes with a flexible sole. You’ll be dancing, turning, and stepping with your partner, so feeling secure and at ease is essential. Also, you don’t need to bring a partner! Everyone dances together and we regularly switch partners during class. So don’t worry if you’re coming alone — you’ll be very welcome and you'll get to meet and dance with lots of people.
