WorkOUT Life Balance-Award – The award for sporting companies

THE AWARD FOR SPORTING COMPANIES

WORKOUT LIFE BALANCE

AWARD 2019

THE AWARD

Today, a healthy, sporty lifestyle is one of the most important social values. Whether yoga, cross-fit, bouldering or swimming - the fitness industry is booming! Many companies are already taking up this development and motivating their employees with company sports offers. In the spirit of New Work, variety, flexibility and individual selection of sports benefits are becoming more and more important.

This is exactly where the WorkOUT Life Balance Award 2019 comes in. As the first and only award for corporate sports, it honours companies that inspire their employees with the topic of health by offering sports activities. A highly remunerated jury of sports experts and new work experts evaluates the applications received and selects "the most sporty companies 2019" at an impressive awards ceremony in Berlin.

THE WINNERS

KERING FSSC GERMANY

The fashion company KERING FSSC GERMANY was chosen as the winner in the "striker" category. In addition to preventive office sports, KERING also offers its employees massages, health days, a sports flat rate and the opportunity to take part in company races.

IN THE CATEGORY "STRIKER"

(1-49 EMPLOYEES)

In the "quarterback" category, the 25hours Hotel Company hotel chain was able to hold its own against its competitors. The company promotes the health of its employees through fitness memberships, health days, bicycle leasing, massage services and a sports flat rate.

25HOURS HOTEL COMPANY

REASON IS OUT – HOW HEALTH & MOTIVATION ARE CONNECTED

Although we consider health to be very important, it is often very difficult for us to act accordingly. In everyday working life, our own well-being often falls by the wayside. Sleep, exercise, relaxation and enjoyment are often neglected. What is the reason for this? Do we really not have time? Pizza, whiskey and cigar after work - for most people this is more attractive than broccoli, still water and jogging. In his keynote, Frédéric Letzner conveys in a provocative and humorous way how health and motivation are connected.

STRESS IN COMPANIES: THE IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STRESS REDUCTION AND RELAXATION

We all have stress and want to do our best day after day. Strong stress competence is fundamentally important in order not to get out of balance. But it is relaxation and stress reduction in particular that quickly get a raw deal in everyday life. This leads to a stress spiral and stress-related illnesses are the result. Germany's best-known stress expert Jacob Drachenberg highlights in his keynote the 3 biggest mistakes in dealing with stress and shares solutions suitable for everyday use.
