Hatha Yoga mit Lily
Yoga in Neukölln My classes begin with a short grounding meditation to arrive in the space, leaving stress and routine behind, and are followed by Pranayama (breathing exercises). The classes continue with a gentle seated warm-up and different variations of Sun Salutations (classical, A and B). We bring awareness to the breath and align in- and exhales with the movement. Afterwards, we focus on standing asanas, such as warrior sequences, hip openers, heart openers or backbends, depending on the topic of the class. I incorporate time for balancing poses to improve focus and concentration in daily life as well as time to explore and play, such as different variations of arm balancing poses. The classes end with stretching, final relaxation (shavasana) and optional chanting. During the classes, we gently flow with the breath, focus on the correct alignment of postures, improve strength & flexibility and take time to play and explore. Classes can be taught in English or German. All levels welcome!
